Cross-Country Skiing

Cross-country skiing without borders is a real cross-country pleasure in the Nassfeld Hermagor region between 600 and 1,500 metres above sea level. At Nassfeld we maintain the cross-country trails together with our Italian neighbours, some of which run on Italian and Austrian territory. Cross-country skiing as a "gentle sport" keeps the whole body in motion, brings stamina and endurance and offers impressive nature experiences.

The entrance to the cross-country skiing network is only 50 m away from the holiday flat.

Our cross-country ski runs:

• 10 km of cross-country ski runs at Nassfeld (Lago Pramollo and Tressdorfer Alm)
• 60 km cross-country skiing trails in the valley (incl. skating trail)

Tour 1 "Gailtalloipe Möderndorf - Tröpolach" easy
Length: 8 km | Preparation: mostly skating / classic entry points: Tröpolach, Watschig, Postran, Möderndorf, the track runs along the Gail

Tour 2 "Landlaufloipe Tröpolach - Rattendorf - Jenig" (round trail) easy
Length: 15 km | Preparation: mostly skating / classic boarding points: Tröpolach, Rattendorf, Jenig , flat gradient, beautiful round cross-country ski run

Tour 3 "Burgermoos - Seeloipe Pressegger See" easy
Length: 7 km | Preparation: mostly skating / classic entry points: Hermagor, Untervellach, Pressegger See, flat cross-country ski run

Tour 4 "Nassfeld - Tressdorfer Alm" easy
Length: 7 km | Preparation: mostly skating / classic entry points: Nassfeld, Tressdorfer Alm - circuit with easy ascents, high-altitude cross-country trail at 1,500 m above sea level.

Tour 5 " Nassfeld - high-altitude cross-country ski run (1,500 m) medium
Length: 4 km | Preparation: Skating / Classic entry point. Border crossing to Italy ( Passo Pramollo ) - round track around Lago Pramollo on the Italian side of the Nassfeld. Selective routing, international cross-country skiing "without borders
